“You are salt for the earth, O people, salt for the people of God!” Indeed, our existence as church, as parish, is to raise up a community of people alive in God’s love, and then to be constantly called outward to discover, to deepen, to build this love into the structures of our society and communities. Our existence as church, as parish, is to become in the midst of our lives what we have received in Eucharist, to become the Body of Christ.

In our service of charity and justice, We Value:

• The inherent dignity of all people.
• The call of the Gospel and of the Church to serve Christ in the least of our sisters and brothers.
• The truth that when one member suffers, we all suffer.
• Our service in charity and in justice is not born of pity, but of compassion. All are beloved of God.
