The Buildings and Grounds Commission is involved in several areas relating to maintenance of the parish campus:
- Identify maintenance projects and develop a Five Year Plan
- Develop project specifications
- Solicit and review project bids
- Oversee Building Preventative Maintenance Program
Below are the standards identified for setting building and equipment maintenance priorities:
- Projects that address conditions that may cause injury or harm to people.
- Projects that address conditions that may cause or continue to cause physical damage to buildings.
- Projects designed to bring about greater efficiency and savings.
- New equipment that can enhance programs and staff operations.
- Projects that are considered desirable if funds are available. Time and changing conditions may require moving these to other categories.
