Faith Formation Shared Ministry Opportunities
Shared Ministry is the calling forth of all parishioners to share their time, talent and treasure. We are called through Baptism to use the talents we have been blessed with to strengthen our parish community. However we choose to contribute, our actions help to create the community of the Church of St. Margaret Mary. No amount of service is too small. One person can really make a difference!
- Children/Family Ministry Visioning Committee
Meet 3 or 4 times each year to do long term planning for ministries to children, youth and families. Evaluate current ministries and make recommendations for improvement.
- Sunday Morning Liturgy of the Word for Children Leader
Meet with 6-10 pre-school or primary grade children one Sunday each month. Lead a planned activity and age appropriate discussion during the 9:00 AM Mass.
- Sunday Morning Nursery Assistant
Help establish a playful and inviting environment for toddlers and pre-school students to be occupied during one of the Sunday Masses each month. Greet parents, supervise and interact with children, with one other adult during one Sunday Mass each month.
- Wednesday Night Youth Faith Formation Small Group Leader
Collaborate with the coordinator and other leaders in lesson and activity planning three times each year. Meet with a group of 6 - 8 middle school or high school youth the first three Wednesday nights of each month from October to April (90 minute sessions).
- RCIA Sponsor
Be part of a team to support a person desiring to come into the Catholic Church. Participate in weekly sessions.
